Not the genes but the hard work
The reason behind her toned arms and washboard abs are not just good genes. To maintain her body, she puts her heart and soul into it. Staying active is the best quality of her and we can take inspiration from this as well. She is very active all day round and usually hit the gym twice in a day, in morning and evening. She does not believe in the concept of a morning workout and resting the whole day. She generally indulges in cardio exercises in the morning while in the evening; she focuses more on weight lifting and strength training.

She also said in an interview “I work out every day and my routine usually involves cardio in the mornings, like dancing, kickboxing or gymnastics, and weight training in the evenings. I supplement that with a protein-carbs diet.”

As Disha is not much into running on the treadmill or sweating on the spin-cycle, she always does her cardio workouts by dancing around. Her dance sessions are of high intensity and require a lot of energy. In the evening, she likes to go for weights training and lifting weight to shape up and tone the body. She said that mixing of weights and cardio is the proper type of workout regimen. Saying more on the prominence of fitness, Disha said “The general assumption is that women working out involve cardio, not weight training. But we all work out and do heavy weights; I come across so many girls in the gym training really hard.”

Disha makes sure to hit the gym at least four days a week. To attain the perfect flexibility, she never skips or misses her schedule. To get more benefits in her way, she also tries to embrace Yoga and its different postures in her fitness routine.

Correct eating is the key
Do whatever you want to but a healthy workout session is nothing without a healthy diet and proper nutrition. If you are spending hours in the gym and still don’t get the desired results then it’s the diet- the main culprit. Disha’s diet is packed with protein, healthy carbs and green vegetables. She ensures to drink a lot of water in order to hydrate the body.
