12 ways to get more energy

It’s an age-old saying that health is wealth. Precise enough! But with busy schedules we often forget to focus on our health and even after much consumption of food, we feel tired and drained time-to-time. From fatigue to less sleep there may be several reasons for this.

With the changes in lifestyle and food habits, here are a lot of things you can inhibit day-to-day to increase your energy levels for a cool and healthy life. Just try these little adjustments and boost your energy levels with the brownie point of improved daily performance.

1. High-quality sleep: Ever heard the line ‘sleep solves everything’? Yes, it’s true! Lack of sleep can make you feel lethargic, grumpy and tired. Good quality sleep is responsible for the proper functioning of the body. Try to sleep early and avoid the use of phone before going to bed.

2. Carbohydrate intake: Carbohydrates turn into glucose which in turn provides energy to your body. Carbohydrate intake from food sources like quinoa, legumes and nuts makes you feel fuller and provide a sense of activeness in the body. But when you rely on refined carbs (bad carbs) your body converts it into fat. So it is important to take care of the food you eat.
Increase the intake of good carbs (complex carbs) while cutting down the number of bad carbs from the diet.

3. B vitamins: B Vitamins plays an important role in maintaining energy which in turn promotes good health and well-being. B Vitamins have a direct impact on the energy levels and promote infection and growth of red blood cells. Try to incorporate foods such as whole grains, meat, dairy products and leafy vegetables into your diet. These are known as the good source of B Vitamins and make your body highly active.

4. Hydration juice is the key: Vegetable juice with pulp provides quick nutrition that further boosts the physical energy in the body. Dangerous toxins can easily be removed by the vegetable juice and thus help the body grow with sustained energy.

5. Add some exercise: Energy comes to those who exercise! 30 minutes of exercise every day can boost your energy and protects your body from various diseases. When you exercise, your body increases fluids, oxygen and nutrients which in turn help in creating energy.

6. Fiber-rich foods are the pre-requisite: Fiber is very important for a human body. Foods that are rich in fiber gives you energy, helps you in losing weight and also lower blood sugar levels. Foods that include fibre are fruits, vegetables, beans, legumes and nuts. Try to add it in your diet and you will see the magic yourself.

7. Eat a nutritious diet: Low energy can feel you tired and sluggish. If you remain out of energy on a regular basis then it’s the time to check your daily eating habits. Most of the time, choosing nutritious foods will be the answer to dull energy. Healthy food provides your body with the nutrients and the much-needed energy as well!

8. Drink herbal tea instead of coffee: Coffee gives you a quick pinch of energy that fades after some time. It makes your body temporarily active. Whereas herbal teas slowly boost your energy level and make your body feel fresh and bright for a longer period of time.

9. Skip Junkies: Try to avoid processed junkies as it doesn’t have any nutritional value and loaded with sugars. So, in order to produce natural energy and healthiness, don’t rely on packaged and grocery foods.

10. Never skip breakfast: Breakfast is known as the powerhouse of the whole day. Skipping breakfast can make you slow and can affect your overall performance. Start your day with the correct breakfast and boost your energy naturally. You can consume foods such as oatmeal, eggs, poha and many others to make your day happy and healthy.
