Broccoli Paneer Flap

Give the traditional paratha, an unconventional spin by stuffing in broccoli and paneer which enhances the taste and makes it more nutritive. Broccoli has many health benefits including cancer prevention, cholesterol control and it is also a very powerful antioxidant.

  • 50 grams broccoli, chopped
  • 30 grams paneer
  • 30 grams onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon canola oil
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • 30 grams wheat flour
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Water

  • Combine whole-wheat flour, salt and add water. Knead into soft dough. Roll into flat circles.
  • Heat oil in pan, add onions and cook till translucent.
  • Add broccoli, red chili and salt. Mix well.
  • Add paneer. Combine thoroughly and remove the mixture from flame. Set aside to cool.
  • Stuff this mixture in the center of the flat circles and seal the edges. Press lightly and roll gently again into circles.
  • On a heated pan, cook the paratha on both sides till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
